Alison Lee

Alison Lee is Executive Vice President of Silverwood Associates, Inc., Silverwood Homes, Inc., and Silverwood Management, Inc. located in Reston, Virginia. With 28 years of experience in real estate development, Ms. Lee has procured acquisition, construction and permanent loan financing for residential, commercial and retail development and has managed financial assets in excess of $2B.

Since 1998 with Silverwood Associates, Inc., Ms. Lee has secured financing for 12 affordable multi-family properties totaling $213M in assets and has syndicated $53M in low-income housing tax credits. Ms. Lee has also been responsible for asset managing a $285M+ low-income housing tax-credit portfolio consisting of 24 limited partnership and limited liability companies.

Since 2003 with Silverwood Homes, Inc., Ms. Lee has played a key role in the start-up of this market rate development company. Ms. Lee has successfully turned a $4.2M land deal and secured financing of $71M for two condominium/retail developments. Ms. Lee has also been responsible for asset managing a $120M market rate portfolio consisting of ten limited liability companies.

Since 2003 with Silverwood Management, Inc., Ms. Lee has overseen the property management, daily operations and staff of 12 affordable multi-family properties located in Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina. Ms. Lee bears the Housing Credit Certified Professional credential, the National Compliance Professional-Executive credential, the Virginia Fair Housing Board certificate and has vast knowledge of and experience in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program. Ms. Lee is also a graduate of the Housing Credit College and the Harvard University Real Estate Advanced Finance Program, and is a member of Institute of Management Accountants, Urban Land Institute, Virginia Housing Coalition, Northern Virginia Apartment Association, Northern Virginia Building Industry Association, and Association of College & University Housing Officers - International. In addition, Ms. Lee serves as Director of The WestLee Condomimium Unit Owners Association Board.
